I had the best conversation with Amy Shlosberg + Meghan Sacks. Together, they host the Direct Appeal podcast - examining the case of Melanie McGuire, who maintains her innocence to this day, after her conviction of killing her husband in 2004. Amy + Meghan are criminology professors at Farleigh Dickinson University in NJ. We went HARD and tackled tiny issues like justice ( who gets it?), reasonable doubt ( we get this wrong A LOT), and how to consume true crime responsibly. But don't fear, we also laugh. A lot!
